The Newport News Police need your help to solve a recent business robbery.
On May 20th, 2017, at approximately 5:26 AM, Newport News Police were dispatched to the Hardee's located at 13165 Jefferson Avenue in reference to a business robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the General Manager, a 30-year-old Newport News woman who stated that a black male approximately 6’0 tall, slim build, wearing khaki pants, black and grey hoodie with half of a ski mask covering his face, and armed with a silver handgun entered the business. There were also 3 other employees inside the business when the robbery occurred and identified as a 45, 42, and 33-year-old Newport News women. The suspect demanded money and took an undisclosed amount from the business. After the robbery, the suspect fled the business. There were no reported injuries from this robbery and the investigation remains ongoing.
